Social Studies Teacher - Milwaukee Youth Facility

This position will develop and implement a program of educational services specific to the needs of the male and/or female juvenile offender population. The teacher will provide individual and group instruction; will evaluate student progress; and will prescribe necessary remediation and/or academic support services. The teacher will also complete all required documentation related to student assessment and related reports; will evaluate academic records in a timely manner; will monitor and manage student behavior; and will attend relevant institutional staffings/meetings. Special Requirement:Certification by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction as a Social Studies Teacher (#2700) for Early Adolescence through Adolescence (grades 6-12), and/or Broadfield Social Studies (#1734).
