Registered Nurse - Winnebago Mental Health Institute

As an RN, you will use the nursing process to implement nursing interventions in basic and complex patient situations at WMHI. Duties include, but are not limited to:Completing daily nursing assessments, responding to medical emergencies, administering medications and working as part of a multidisciplinary team in the provision of medical care. Overseeing and providing guidance to other nursing staff (Certified Nursing Assistants), ensuring patient health and safety needs are met. Minimally qualified applicants will have both of the following:Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Wisconsin (WI). Eligible includes being currently registered as a professional nurse in another state and eligible to obtain licensure in WI (must be licensed in WI upon hire) OR graduate nurses within three months of graduation (must have Nursing Temporary Permit Lice
