ANALYST II

Under the direction of the Education Programs Administrator of the Uniform Complaints Procedures (UCP) Office, within the Legal Division, and working collaboratively with program units throughout the California Department of Education (CDE), the Analyst ll performs duties associated with the screening, reviewing and basic analysis of UCP complaints and appeals. The analyst will also carry out all the phases of the UCP statewide monitoring procedures working closely with the Federal Programs Monitoring Office (FPM). The analyst will annually review new laws that impact the UCP and update the UCP instrument to ensure it is up to date with new legal requirements. Additionally, the analyst will be the primary point-of-contact with LEAs to provide them guidance on UCP compliance requirements.
