GENERAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT - PARKS & RECREATION DIVISION LIFEGUARDS Under general supervision, monitors water-related recreational activities at a municipal swimming pool or beach. The City of Detroit - Recreation Division - Parks and Recreation provides daily health check-ins, personal protection equipment and training. Most work assignments are outdoors.
