This is a part-time position with a maximum of 1,508 hours per year and is not eligible for paid holidays, leave, or benefits. Hourly rate Lifeguard I - Entry level hourly rate is $17.32 Lifeguard II - Entry level hourly rate is $19.42 Minimum Qualifications Lifeguard I and II qualifications: Candidate must be 16 years of age. Valid and current Lifeguard Training Certification by date of hire. (a copy of the current certification must be attached to your application) Water Safety Instructor certification preferred. Able to demonstrate proficiency in swimming abilities and the ability to handle rescue activities while in the water.
