Chief Clerk The Department of Public Safety, Division of Animal Care & Control has a mission to reduce the number of stray and unwanted animals by enforcing City animal ordinances and connecting residents to low-cost spay and neuter services. In addition to helping animals in need, theDivision of Animal Care & Control responds to complaints, enforces ordinances, picks up stray animals, and reunites lost pets with their owners. The Division also provides resources andassistanceto animal owners while making every effort tofacilitatepositive outcomes for animals in their care.
