Pay Schedule XIII, Grade 6S, Regular Schedule: 40 hours per week THIS JOB POSTING IS FOR CURRENT AND/OR RETIRED LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS (POLICE AND DEPUTY SHERIFFS) ONLY! RETIRED BALTIMORE COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS POSITION Recruit Employment Bonus The Sheriff’s Office will award a Hiring Bonus of $12,000 for Experienced Current and Retired Law Enforcement Officers. The bonus will be paid in three (3) equal payments at the time of hire; after training; and after completion of probationary status. Salary will be commensurate with level of experience, up to $64,932. You MUST meet the following requirements before you can be hired in the above classification: Have at least two (2) years' experience as a Police Officer or Deputy Sheriff; Current MPCTC certification or have been MPCTC certified within the last three (3) years which includes firearms qualification; Must be in good standing at current agency with no pending internal investigations, or have retired within the past 3 years in good standing; Have a high school diploma, GED, or an appropriate equivalent; Be at least 21 years of age at the time you submit your application; Satisfactorily comple
