Water and Wastewater Services is seeking a highly skilled and reliable Utility Mechanic (UM) for its Operations Division. The UM performs skilled work in the maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing of water and wastewater systems, lift stations, and related mechanical equipment. The UM is responsible for performing the following tasks related to the construction and maintenance of water and wastewater mains, pumping and treatment facilities at water and wastewater plants and lift stations, including but not limited to: Installing water meters, hydrants, laying pipes, repairing leaks. Operating, removing, repairing, and installing various equipment, machinery and control systems. Ensuring efficient mechanical operation of equipment and machinery.
