General Description This role involves complex professional and administrative duties in the planning, coordination, and administration of the countywide emergency management program. Operating under general supervision, the individual will independently develop work methods and sequences. The position entails mandated reviews of Comprehensive Emergency Management Plans (CEMP) for healthcare facilities, including detailed Emergency Environmental Control (generator) plans for nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Responsibilities include detailed reviews, strong writing and reporting skills, data analysis, and tracking the current status and deficiencies of the overall CEMP program plan submissions. The role also requires providing customer service support for assigned program areas, conducting presentations, trainings, and workshops for new facility administrators and other stakeholders, and coordinating with ETS staff for enhancements to the CEMP electronic portal for plan submission and reviews.
