Applications accepted from: All Persons Interested Section: Engineering & Construction/Infrastructure Reporting Location: 611 Walker Street, 17th Floor* Workdays & Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm* *Subject to change DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Supervise, coordinate, and manage a variety of engineering and construction project administration activities and resources necessary to implement City’s Infrastructure projects (drainage, paving, water and wastewater) under Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Provide guidance and training for administrative staff, contract administrators and project managers. Support and assist with responses to inquiries from other City of Houston departments, consultants, agencies, contractors and the public. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Manage, train, develop, counsel and evaluate staff performance Establish and implement policies and procedures Develop guidelines and templates for project related documentation and correspondence. Drafts and reviews proposed contracts, correspondence, letters of agreements and amendments Act as liaison to other departments, government agencies and private sector Coordinates the preparati
