$7,500 Sign-on BONUS* Now Hiring: Part-Time Deputy Sheriffs (Day shift) The Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office is seeking qualified individuals who currently hold a valid Virginia DCJS Law Enforcement Certification to serve part-time in our Confinement Division on day shift. Position Details: Schedule: 40 hours per pay period, consisting of five 8-hour shifts (7 a.m.–3 p.m.), including every other weekend and two weekday shifts per pay cycle. Training: Selected candidates will attend a 4-week Deputy School (unless already Virginia DCJS certification in Civil, Court, and Jail operations), followed by our structured Field Training Program designed to ensure success and confidence on the job.
