Community Clinical Counselor (Social Services) (Vacancy)

Under general supervision, t his position serves on a multi-disciplinary team that provides wraparound services for youth and family in the community setting. This position will be responsible for providing crisis intervention and long-term case management services for at risk youth and their families in the community, while collaborating with community partners (Recreation and Parks, Columbus City Schools, etc). It will provide assessment, screening, care planning, brief therapy sessions, linkage to resources, as well as completing documentation. Additionally, this position will provide education on trauma and resiliency. P erforms related duties as required. Evening and weekend hours are required. Preferred: Master’s Degree in Social Work, with a Social Work License (LSW) or Master’s in Counseling, with a Clinical Counselors License (LPC). Experience in crisis intervention and working with youth, families and vulnerable communities. Strong understanding of trauma; strong communication, clinical skills, and public speaking skills. the ability to work with people from different backgrounds and experience with group facilitation, community outreach and community engagement preferred
