The Compliance Inspector 2 position is located within the Transportation Licensing Division (TLC) of the Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT). In this capacity, the employee is responsible for monitoring and enforcing parking ordinances which include meters, loading zones, valet zones, sidewalk vending zones, no parking zones, and residential parking throughout Metro Nashville. Employee will also be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance with taxicabs, limousines, wreckers and transportainment vehicles. Enforcement of Metro’s ordinance on sidewalk vending is also part of the responsibilities for this position. Performs related work as required. This position is on call 24 hours and is required to respond during declared emergencies or severe weather activities.
