Are you energized by solving complex geotechnical and pavement design and construction engineering challenges and applying your technical expertise to some of Michigan's largest and most impactful transportation projects? As the region senior geotechnical engineer, you'll serve as the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) Metro Region's technical authority for soils engineering, pavement engineering and providing expert guidance on complex transportation projects throughout the Metro Detroit area. You'll play a key role in delivering technically complex transportation projects where challenging site conditions, high-traffic corridors and major infrastructure investments require innovative geotechnical and pavement solutions. From evaluating subsurface conditions to influencing the design and constructability of highways, bridges, retaining walls, foundations, and other critical transportation infrastructure, your expertise will help shape projects that keep Michigan moving.
