Bridge Worker 6-E8 (Permanent Intermittent) - International Bridge

This position is permanent intermittent with varying hours each pay period based on workload. Must be able to satisfy all border crossing requirements for both U.S. Customs and Canada Border Services Agency. The general function of this position is to assist with keeping the roadway surface and associated properties of the International Bridge Association (IBA) maintained and in a safe operating condition. Operate a motor vehicle or vehicle/trailer combination with a Gross Weight Rating (GVWR) of more than 26,000 pounds when operating snowplow, front-end loader, etc. After two years as a Bridge Worker and satisfactory performance, this position will be reassigned to a Steeplejack position. The "Salary" listed above is a range that reflects the minimum rate at the entry (6) level through the maximum rate at the experienced (E8) level.
