A bout DTMB: The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems. About this position: This position serves as the Section Manager for the Construction & Leasing Compliance Section within the Real Estate Division. This position is responsible for directing the activities of professional staff and overseeing all statewide lease compliance enforcement and construction compliance activities across both leased and State-owned facilities. The position ensures Lessors meet all contractual obligations, and ensures construction projects—whether landlord managed, tenant managed, or state managed—comply with State of Michigan standards, codes, specifications, and performance requirements.
